About Mel
I’m a Newcastle-based artist and educator with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Ceramics) from National Art School, where I received the Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. I also completed a Diploma of Visual Arts at Newcastle Art School. I hold a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathy, graduating with a Distinction average. My studies included extensive anatomy, neuroanatomy and human structure and function, and I have previous experience tutoring neuroanatomy.

I offer individual human anatomy lessons drawing on my Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Master of Osteopathy, as well as extensive study of human structure and function.
I can help students understand anatomy through clear explanations, diagrams and visual learning, with a particular focus on making complex structures easier to remember and understand rather than simply memorising lists.
Lessons can be tailored to health-science students and others studying human anatomy, according to your course content and individual learning needs.
