I follow a student centric approach during the session. I create situations to develop confidence and problem solving skills among the students. My sessions are interactive and we try and build relationships over the class. I like to form groups and give them a common problem to help them work as a team and bond over the topic.
my teaching method is to use analogy’s and real life examples to make complicated material relatable and easy to understand AND remember
I base my lessons on your upcoming lessons and tests; I can usually predict the structure of your course based on your textbook or lessons you've completed already.
I help my students succeed in their classes by teaching the subjects that I am very confident in, as well, I like to give my students tips and tricks that have helped me study in the past and present. As a tutor who have taught multiple subjects before (math, chemistry, biology...), I have a grasp on what students may have trouble understanding, and which concepts would most likely be tested.
My methodology is simple- the more you try to understand the more you remember. Biology is a very factual based subject. There are toomany things to remember and so understanding how things work and having regular tests is the best way you do well. Besides regular tests would help a student to score more as they see different types of questions often being asked to them.
I use different modern teaching aids like power point presentations or different new age digital teaching aids (depending on the institution and availability) and I modify my approach to the subject depending on the student audience. I use multiple dimensional reinforcement techniques so that each and every student grasps my concepts well.
I am currently a high school science teacher who has extensive experience in research and teaching science courses. My teaching philosophy is based upon an evolutionary approach where learning is a journey to a specific goal.
I have approached tutoring the past with both direct teaching and Socratic methods. I have worked in a peer tutoring setting at Western University to help others with specific homework problems or with the development of note-taking/study skills.
My methods are based upon the inclusion and participation of the students by using problem based learning. The participation of the student and the working on their weakness in order to match their strengths is a major goal I will try to achieve.
I would like to teach students according to the way they learn best. Because of the vast array of different learning styles, it will be a combination of pictures, explaining, discussions, reading, and activities so that they really get a good understanding of the subject.
I approach every subject with enthusiasm and curiosity. I am interested in making sense of a subject and applying it to life, breaking down concepts and analyzing them and using it to paint a broad picture of a subject. My expertise is working with students in grades 7 and 8.
My teaching strategy is focused on finding what works best for YOU specifically. I like to work closely with students to find out what method best works for them to understand concepts better. I like to visualize a lot and use diagrams, as well as break down concepts. I also like to use a lot of practice, since I believe this is the best way to learn.
My teaching methods vary with the students I have to teach.
I base my methodology on how my student BEST learns concepts and according to their preference, whether it is through visual (spatial) aural (auditory), verbal (linguistic) or physical (kinaesthetic) learning and I use these methods in the most organized and engaging way possible.
In my classes I prefer to incorporate hands on learning when applicable. When that lacks I like to help to create a network of ideas to improve recall of subject details and improve problem solving skills. In order to do this I typically bring concepts down to a real world metaphor, or funny comparison to help students remember these concepts.
My teaching methods include detailed study of topic by clearing the basics of the subjects. I love to teach & interact with students with one on one basis. I believe in interactive learning methodology which helps the students to grow.
I approach a subject with dissecting it: Making it simple. When students understand the "Why" of things they can have a clearer view. I can describe my teaching technics as a mix of both a Demonstrator and Facilitator: Explaining lessons using demonstrations and activities in addition to helping students critical thinking skills and promoting self-learning.
I love sharing my knowledge and building a good relationship with my students. My teaching style is based on discussions and giving personalized attention to each of my student's needs. I am open to giving classes to the students at all levels from high school to graduate.
I base my approach on your needs. We can either go through your curriculum or we can prep for exams, quizzes, unit tests etc. Would you prefer we delve deeper into each topic, we can do that. We can go through homework or i can easily bring extra work for us to go through.
I base my teaching off a " Student Centered approach. My primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment. I enjoy using power points and multiple choice quizzes to help facilitate my teaching.
Flexibility, fun and application. We all learn best at different times of the day, year or even life time. Learning should not be a chore it should be embraced and anticipated with excitement. Learning should have meaning and I consistently apply real life examples and subject matter together.
As biology is the study of life, I like to use examples from real life to help students understand the material they are studying. I am committed to helping students really absorb and love what they are studying rather than simply memorizing material.
Every subject has its own concepts and logics. I always try to clear those logics and concepts. My teaching is always based on concepts.I always teach or provide training on the individual level. Even I use some teaching aids to clear the concepts.
As biology is such a large subject I would allow the high school students I tutor to work at their own pace allowing them to fully absorb the information I am assisting them with, while insuring they get through all the material.
My teaching methods are adapted to the learner. I try to make references to something your interested in to help with memory recall. I believe in repetition of concepts to really understand the material and I try to incorporate videos when possible. I don't think there is one right way to learn.
My teaching methods are illustration through examples ,videos and diagram. I tend to illustrate and explain topics by bringing the scientific ideas with life examples which makes students remember the lessons through their whole lifes. Using menomonics as well for some points where the student can list the items by remembering just one word in no time.
My method of teaching is through constructivist teaching methods that embrace subsets of alternative teaching styles, including modeling, coaching, and test preparation through rubrics scaffolding. All of these are designed to promote student participation and necessitate a hybrid approach to teaching.
I like to base my tutoring on textual, visual, and kinesthetic learning methods, to offer a variety of ways to learn, as we all learn differently. I also like to include practical application of lessons to solidify key concepts into the mind of my students.
Ever looked back on past exams and wondered : "how come I didn't understand this or that the first time around? It was so simple!" Don't let current frustrations get in the way of achieving your goals and dreams. Together, through practice and patience, we'll brake down the material for it to become simple, intelligible, and easy.
Je m'assure que les bases soient comprises avant d'en rajouter. COMPRENDRE est le mot clé!!!! C'est pour quoi j'y vais à ton rythme et que tu peux te sentir à l'aise de poser toutes tes questions.
