About Josie
I am a high school junior with a passion for teaching and am planning to apply for a Secondary Education: Math Specialization degree. During 2022-2023, I completed a Girl Scout Silver Award by completing 50 hours of tutoring elementary students in various subjects with high success rates. In high school, I completed over 15 hours of tutoring middle school students through a program called "Homework Huddle". I am a fun, charismatic, and professional tutor that truly enjoys helping students who are struggling find their understanding in a subject. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I find tutoring as a way to grow this passion by being a kind and helpful mentor for students.

Lessons will be fun and engaging, creating an atmosphere promoting learning and creativity. We will go in depth into the subject matter, and I will be thorough and use clever tricks to help students remember tricky math ideas such as the multiplication table and the quadratic formula. Students are always open to ask questions, and curiosity is always encouraged.
