About Anna

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have taught EFL for over 20 years both abroad and in South West London: at the English College Barnes, Wimbledon School of English and privately. I teach General English in preparation for the Cambridge Exams. I organise tailor made excursions with small groups and on a one to one basis to areas of historical and cultural interest in London.

I have a current Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Certificate.

10+/11+ Tuition in English and Verbal Reasoning
I teach all levels of EFL General English, IELTS and Cambridge Exam preparation : PET KET FCE CAE CPE

BA Hons degree in Russian Studies with Italian and Comparative Literature from the University of Manchester.
RSA Certificate in TEFL

- How much do you charge?

For 10+/11+ Tuition I charge £45 per hour.
I charge £45 per hour and offer discounted rates for conversation classes, block bookings, shared lessons and specialist group excursions.

- Where do you teach?

I generally prefer to teach at home in Raynes Park/ West Wimbledon- (excellent transport links and I can provide free parking) or at mutually convenient venues that may be part and parcel of the lesson. I am happy to travel to an adult student's home within a reasonable radius- for example Richmond, Putney, Kingston, New Malden, Sheen, Barnes, Southfields and Wimbledon

- When are you available?

Mondays and Tuesdays and Saturday Mornings 9.00-1pm subject to availability.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach both foreign adults and young people preparing for secondary school examinations (primary to GCSE level).
I teach all EFL levels from Beginner to Proficiency.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I prepare young people for the secondary schools examinations specialising in developing English Language and Verbal Reasoning skills.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I can teach online by arrangement.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I am very friendly, relaxed and focused on developing my student's self confidence and enjoyment of learning English.
