About Anthony
Anthony Santiago as a performer has been doubling low brass instruments for more than 15 years. As a musician on the stage Anthony career is diverse having experience playing in Chamber Music, Classical, Latin, Jazz, and Musicals, having performed at some of NYC's more renowned venues such as Birdland, The Blue Note, Carnegie Hall, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Symphony Space. When it comes to pit orchestras Anthony has played in over 30 Musical Productions including Annie, Billy Elliot, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and West Side Story to name a few. The Trombone has even taken Anthony to different countries to perform such as England to perform in London and Malta to perform at a music festival.
As an educator Anthony has taught and performed a masterclass at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Cuny Queens College, all of high school age students attend Performing Arts High Schools having multiple students in honor youth ensembles, and multiple students that have successfully auditioned for Summer Festivals and even Music Conservatories to continue the studies further such as SUNY Purchase, Mannes, Trinity Laban (London), and the Manhattan School of Music.

My goal as a teacher is for my students to feel confident when their instrument is in their hands. It is such a good feeling to know whatever music is put in front of you that you can play it. I want you to feel good about your sound, your style, and wherever you are on your journey to being the best musician you can be.
