About Huzaifa
Hi, I'm Huzaifa, a Computer Science (Software Engineering) student with A grades in both IGCSE and A Levels. I completed my A Levels in just five months, developing and testing an exam-focused study approach that helped me achieve strong results. I teach Computer Science from beginner level through IGCSE and A Levels, alongside programming and practical Computer Science skills.
What I enjoy most about teaching is the mentorship side of it. I try to understand how a student thinks, then use that to figure out where they're actually struggling, not just where the mistakes show up. For academic students, I focus on understanding the syllabus, recognizing how questions are structured, and learning how to approach exams effectively. For programming, I prefer a hands-on approach where students build things, solve problems, and learn from the mistakes they encounter along the way.
My lessons are adapted to the student, whether they are starting from scratch, preparing for IGCSE or A Levels, struggling with a particular topic, or looking for more challenging work beyond the syllabus.
I want students to understand how things actually work, not just memorize Computer Science well enough to pass. That's what turns into real problem-solving ability, and eventually the confidence to figure things out on their own

Teaching approach:
I teach Computer Science through a combination of academic understanding and practical application. For students preparing for IGCSE or A Levels/SPM, I focus on understanding the syllabus, recognizing how exam questions are structured, and developing an effective approach to maximize marks.
I achieved A grades in both IGCSE and A Levels, completing my A Levels in five months, and I use the study and exam techniques that I personally developed and tested throughout that process.
For programming, I take a more project-based approach. Students learn concepts by building things, encountering problems, and figuring out how to solve them. I guide students with questions and smaller steps rather than immediately giving them the answer, so they learn to work through problems on their own instead of relying on me for the next step.
Lesson structure:
Academic lessons can focus on syllabus coverage, difficult concepts, exam questions, mark schemes, and targeted practice.
Programming lessons are more hands-on, using projects and exercises to reinforce concepts. The balance changes depending on the student's goals, whether they are trying to catch up, prepare for exams, improve their grades, or go beyond the syllabus.
Experience:
I am a Computer Science (Software Engineering) student with practical experience across Python, Java, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a particular interest in software structure and architecture. I also currently teach Scratch through my ICT Programme volunteering role at SJKT Sungai Besi.
Who these lessons are for:
I teach Computer Science and programming from beginner level through IGCSE and A Levels, covering both academic preparation and practical skills. This includes students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, prepare specifically for exams, improve their marks, learn programming, build projects, or take their understanding beyond the standard syllabus.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
The way he simplifies concepts and theories is so impressive. He'd come up with analogies that'd be relevant to students (I'm his former student).
He helped me a day before exam, he's not just good at teaching but also calming down his students. The way he was able to extract anxiety out of me and help me better focus, cherry on top, he has really good understanding of what kind of questions are expected in exams
So he's a 10/10, no doubt In thatView more recommendations
