About Cache
Hi! I'm Cache! I go to college for Applied Physics right in town and I am super passionate about what I study. I have taken plenty of difficult STEM courses in my time as a student. Starting in middle and high school, I took algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and AP calculus AB and BC. I still absolutely use every single one of these courses in all my classes, so I am extremely well versed in any of these subjects. I remember what worked for me, what did not, and how I wish I would have learned it when I was taking it. In college I have taken calculus-based physics, thermodynamics, calculus I - III, and engineering-computing. This year I am set up to take differential equations, physics II, modern physics, linear algebra, and electric circuits. All that suffice to say I have a deeper-than-your-average-person understanding of math and physics haha. When I search for a professor for a class, I am always worried about them being too far above my level, so let me quell your fears: I absolutely love to teach any age person any kind of math. Making someone understand something they did not previously is a joy! I have most certainly not lost my love of the basics.

When I teach anyone anything about what I know, I do my absolute best to impress upon them how beautiful, and just plain cool math and science is! I hate making people memorize anything, and I try to avoid it. The best explanations in my opinion have me saying "why wouldn't it be that way?" Stepping away from abstract formulas and building problems from the ground up tends to make math a lot easier and a lot more fun! If there are any subjects you don't see listed with me, feel free to reach out and ask. In my degree and my high school experience I've tended to study a wide variety of things!
