About Alya
I have been tutoring since 2007, I thoroughly enjoy it and also prefer to invent new teaching methods tailored to every student's needs and learning style.
I am a visual learner and tend to use drawing and color to elucidate ideas if need be.
I am a lifelong learner and have been blessed with many abilities, both creative and intellectual.

I prefer to tailor the learning experience to each student
The best gift one can give a student is the gift of learning itself.
To spark intellectual curiosity that lasts a lifetime, enabling students to be immersed in the subject matter they are studying.
My focus is to give students tools to understand, analyze, write and clearly organize studying information.
These basics make up for the structure onto which we can work with depending on the exercise whether it is spatial, visual or chronological.
My Teaching methods are both conventional and unconventional. The objectives can vary from improving grades, understanding a subject further, improving analytical abilities, writing skills or critical thinking.
For example to develop tools in this case reading techniques then writing techniques by having several layers of reading underlying with a pencil first then highlighting in different colors: through this process we find meaning and can build the structure or outline to write a well organized paper or essay.
