About Gemma
Hey! I'm Gemma, 40-year-old freelance singer based in Hertfordshire. I am originally from the Wirral and I trained at Liverpool Theatre School. My career has spanned over 20 years and I have worked as a guest artist for various cruise lines, as a session singer and a wedding and event vocalist. When I am not mentoring you can catch me performing with CODA musicals in their touring productions " Songs From Stage & Screen".

What I offer: 1-1 bespoke mentoring session for freelance singers. How long are the sessions? 40 mins via Zoom. Who are they for? These sessions are designed for adults wanting to start out as freelance singers or existing singers looking for guidance. We will talk about how to set yourself up as a singer, what equipment you need, how much you can charge. We will also talk about your repertoire and we will also cover important topics such as public liability, PAT testing and accounting. What if I am not looking to be a freelance singer but I just want some guidance in my career? No problem at all. Sometimes we just need to talk to someone about our worries and concerns about our current career path. I have over 20 years' experience, originally training in MT and then working on cruises to touring with a rock band! to performing at weddings. Sometimes you feel a bit stuck and you just need guidance and advice and that is what I am here for.
