About Jeremy

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) degree from Concordia University in Montréal–QC, and a Master of Fine Art (MFA) degree from NSCAD University in Halifax–NS.

As a teacher, I truly believe in the transformative power of art. As such, my goal is to foster an environment where students feel free to express themselves and explore their artistic potential.

Ultimately, I seek to build relationships that foster a profound appreciation for art and theory, encouraging my students to carry their passion for expression into all areas of their lives.

I am currently only accepting adult students (21 years and older).

Whether you're looking to expand your artistic output in creative and dynamic ways, to refine your technique, or broaden the conceptual depth of your work, my lessons focus on fostering creativity and enhancing your unique style. Join me in a supportive environment where we can collaborate and push the boundaries of your artistic expression.

We will explore materials and techniques, with an emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving through art. We will engage in discussions of various art movements and the diverse works of both renowned and lesser-known artists, fostering an appreciation for both the context and historicity of art.

Note: I have an extensive database of artists and academic resources to support students’ research.

Also, I understand the value of positive feedback while learning; therefore, my critiques will always be constructive and supportive, helping each student grow and refine their work at a pace that suits their individual needs.

I’ve only had 2 meetings with Jeremy and I already understand art differently. I see my art as a continuation of and contribution to the incredibly rich and diverse history of art.
