About Victoria Chantel
I am a kind, patient and positive person, who loves animals and nature. I am currently studying an MSc Environmental Sciences at NWU and achieved a distinction for BSC Hons Biochemistry (UNISA) and for Life Science (Matric). I have face to face tutoring experience, two years of being an Au pair in the USA, and about four months of online Maths and Science tutoring experience. I also have two years of experience in the food industry as a Quality Assurance Administrator.

I am capable of simplifying math concepts in different ways and make use of different tools, such as visual tools. My lesson starts with explaining the concepts or theory of math. Then I will do an example and elaborate on different ways of explaining, using visual tools. Then I will get the students to actively participate by answering the maths problem or by confirming if they know the rules/ methods. If I see another math basic that is missing during the lesson, I will try to recap that section during the lesson (e.g. adding unlike denominators, and seeing we need to recap on common multiples) and will then determine whether it needs more attention or not. I also include games and online quizzes at the end of my lessons. Lastly, my science lessons are interactive, exciting and some will have DIY experiments the students can do at home.
