About HOSSEIN

My preferred way of teaching a class in mathematics would include weekly exercise classes where the students may present their solutions and/or obtain solutions to their weekly homework assignments which they have to hand in to be graded on a weekly basis . I would encourage the students to form small study groups to do their homework , which they may also hand in as a group if they prefer , because I believe that it is very helpful if they see that they are not the only ones who might have trouble with finding the solutions . They have a small support group this way, and perhaps even more important, learn to talk about mathematics. I find it crucial for understanding mathematics to try to solve some problems yourself. Using this method of teaching I have been able to get good results for my students.

About the lesson

I always tried to have a good relationship with my students and gave them lots of motivation and encouragement to work on math problems. I always try to be approachable and make my students feel comfortable. I stay around after class so that students feel like they can talk to me. School is like a second home for many students and they should have a good relationship with their teachers. Whenever the students like and trust their teacher, they can understand the math concepts quicker and grasp the math concepts faster. I strongly prefer a student-centered approach to teaching .
