About Fernando

I am a 25 year old Hispanic-Native American who speaks fluent english, but not spanish. My favorite subject to tutor is math (Geometry to Calculus 2) and everything in between. I also am well with reading comprehension and writing/grammar techniques. Essay writing for APA & MLA format are also specialties of mine, while proof-reading and punctuation is something I enjoy helping others get familiar with. I believe my previous experience as a struggling student gives me an edge in the tutoring space, not to mention my extensive ability to relate with kids in a way they understand. By the time I was a junior & senior in high school, I was able to get all A's to average my overall GPA to 3.4. I will be glad to bring my transcripts if needed for verification :)

I am an athletic individual who eats well and stays in shape by long distance running, strength training and eating veggies on a daily basis.

About the lesson

Lessons can be done at public library, at your home, at my home or a third party public place like a park while weather permits. Lessons are based on how to help you or your child develop the skills and the confidence to learn how to learn on their own. Furthermore, I have 3 years experience in the field as an after school tutor for 30 individuals who were struggling 9-10th grade. As well as 1-1 tutoring for private lessons for sports minded students who are on an expedited schedule all day.
