About Liam

As a student of Astrophysics at UoE I spend the majority of my time in and out of university dealing with the principles and applications of Physics and Mathematics. I have years of experience in these topics.

In my spare time I am a musician. Trained in Classical Piano and Violin from a young age and self-taught in Guitar, Bass Guitar and Bagpipes. I have recently started a YouTube channel for Piano which can be found here if interested. (concealed information)

I am passionate about teaching. I have provided private one-to-one lessons for many years in Physics and Mathematics, Piano, Guitar and Bagpipes. I have had pupils aged from 7 up to 49! I have also provided tuition within university to students in their junior honours years under an internal scheme within the university.

About the lesson

I absolutely love to teach at all ages and levels! I have experience with tutees aged 7 through to age 49 in Maths, Physics and Music (classical piano).

I am friendly and enthusiastic and always try to invoke genuine interest in the subject I'm teaching. My method is simple - 1. Understand the concepts. 2. Develop skills in applications. - and I work patiently with my students to achieve these two goals.

I am happy to work towards any specific syllabus. In a free introductory lesson I will aim to identify the syllabus, understand the problematic areas and get to know the individual requirements of the tutee. In the lessons that follow I will endeavour to deliver engaging sessions to improve comprehension and solve problems.
