About Gal

Hi, I’m Gal – a professional composer, producer, and musician with a B.M. from Berklee College of Music.

My experience spans a wide range of musical disciplines:
• I’ve composed original music and underscores for internationally acclaimed and award-winning films.
• Produced music for artists worldwide.
• Performed with Lincoln Goines’ Bass Choir alongside Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, and Dennis Chambers.
• Worked with productions such as Rambert’s Peaky Blinders Dance production and leading show bands.

I bring a creative, modern, and professional approach to teaching, helping students thrive musically and understand what it means to create music in today’s ever-evolving industry.

About the lesson

• Length: 60 minutes minimum.
• Location: In person near Finchley Central tube station or online via Zoom.
• Level: All levels welcome – from beginners to emerging professionals.

– Composing for film and Telly
– Arranging and orchestration
– Music theory and harmony
– Logic Pro X
– MIDI programming and virtual instruments
– Creative workflow and production techniques
– Portfolio building and audition preparation

Perfect! I was incredibly lucky to find Gal who helped me with a short film composition commission during several intensive and really valuable sessions. He gave me excellent advice and help with the composition itself and also helped me with the technical side (teaching me Logic pro from scratch as I was only familiar with notation software). As well as being very talented he is an excellent and dedicated teacher. I would definitely like to work with him again and recommend him highly to anyone looking for support with composition. Thank you Gal.
