About JUAN

I'm a graduate from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Music Composition. I have been playing piano since I was 9, and composing since I was 10.
Born in Mexico, I currently reside in Los Angeles, California, pursuing my music composition career, having won various awards for my music including the MACEF Illustrious award in music composition.

About the lesson

-I teach based on the requirements of each student.
-I usually start with introductions, and then continue with the current things we worked on the previous lesson or if it's a new lesson we start by deciding the best lesson plan based on the student's goals.
-From there we move onto a new topic or a continuation of what we were working on previously and finally end the lesson with a review of what we saw that lesson.
-I have been teaching for over 8 years and have experience with many age groups, as well as teaching in spanish and english.
-My lessons are for students interested in starting or continuing on their music education, or any of the other topics I offer.
-Beginner and intermediate.
