Mariam has been tutoring my son Leo french for 6 months now. He is in Grade 7 at a full french school in Hamilton, Ontario and lost most of his french due to online learning in COVID. Mariam is extremely knowledgeable in French and is a very nice, caring person. She always finds new ways to keep Leo focused and engaged during online lessons. She is also very flexible with the timing of lessons and is always prepared and ready for each lesson. I can always count on her to get the most out of the 2 hours tutoring sessions each week. Besides that, Leo is always excited for the next lesson with Mariam and Mariam's passion for teaching drives her to go above and beyond of what is expected of her. For example, sometimes Mariam stays 15-20 minutes over time to explain to Leo a concept he struggles with and she never charged me for those rather was really happy to make sure that Leo understood the concept.
