About Oumy

Bonjour! My name is Oumy Diallo, and I’m excited to be your French teacher. Teaching is not just my profession — it’s my passion. I believe that every student has the ability to learn and succeed when they feel supported, challenged, and inspired. About the lesson

I will connect to my students' interests and goals. I will show how French opens doors: travel, international careers, culture, fashion, food, art, music, or study abroad. Example: “If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting Paris, working with global companies, or watching Netflix shows without subtitles, French will take you there.” I will make it personal and exciting. I will explain that your class isn’t just grammar and vocabulary — it’s about communication, culture, and confidence. I will emphasize interactive activities: conversations, songs, games, movies, cultural projects. I will teach my students a few fun or useful phrases right away (“Bonjour ! Comment ça va ?”) so they see how fast they can learn something new.
