About Kerry
I am a drawing teacher who has been teaching for 4 years. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Digital Art and began training as a traditional artist (paper and pencil) while in grade school. I have exhibited my works across the United States with some of my work being shown at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art. I have a vast knowledge of the art world and wish to share it with my students.

We will always start with the basics. This way, I can be sure you have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of drawing. Even if you have some experience with drawing, it is good to revisit the foundations.
For each lesson we will work on a specific subject or art style. In basic drawing lessons, we will focus on the fundamentals of drawing and shading using simple subject matter. In intermediate drawing lessons, we may learn about a specific art movement and replicate a certain style. At this level, you will be introduced to more complex subjects like people.
I am a digital artist so I offer digital art lessons as well. My only requirement for the student is that they have some traditional drawing skills to start with. I think having traditional drawing skills will help an artist as they venture into the world of digital art.
I teach students K-12 and adults. I plan each class according to the students age and interests. I am happy to assist students who are working on a drawing project for art school. If you need constructive feedback and advice, our tutoring lesson can focus on providing feedback on a project you are already in process of making.
