About Akhil
Hi everyone,
I am Akhil Karamullil, but you can call me AK.
I am thrilled to be part of your academic journey. I know Math and Physics aren't always easy, but being a bit tricky makes them fun to chase!
I have been chasing them for a while now, and that journey led me to a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and an Electromechanical Engineering diploma. Before transitioning to tutoring, I spent time working hands-on in the industry, specifically with hydraulics and manufacturing systems. Because of my experience in the field, I always say: instead of just memorizing formulas, let's try to see exactly how science works in the real world.

When I think about my school days, the first lesson that comes to mind is 'Motion' - and if you ask me why, I'll say it's the teacher! The way he introduced the terms speed, distance, and time by having us all play a little classroom game was a great icebreaker for laws of motion.
That is what I always try to do, actively engage students as much as I can.
Since we mentioned 'Motion', a typical lesson plan for grade 10 will be
1. Introduce concept of Distance, Speed, and Time
2. Vector and scalar quantities (e.g., velocity & speed)
3. Practical idea of Acceleration
