About Gautham
I have pursued my Bachelors (Honors) in mathematics with a minor in physics and Masters in pure mathematics from India's best math institute. I worked towards building strong fundamentals. Coming to problem solving, I have experience with olympiads. I'm currently a first-year PhD student in theoretical physics. I believe learning from PhD students has its own merits like having an enthusiasm towards math which I try to instill into the student rather than treating teaching as just another job.

I focus on understanding the topic at hand rather than mugging up formulas or techniques.
Firstly, I have a chat with the student to understand their needs and their background in math/physics.
For any topic I teach, I make the student realise its importance via asking leading questions to reach the topic at hand. Once the student understands why to study that topic, they will have a better reason to take their studies seriously in a natural manner.
