About Trevor
I am an fourth-year SFU student who played basketball at both the high school and AAU levels, and has been a head coach at the high school level for four of the past five years. I have had the opportunity to be coached by current and former coaches and players at the NBA, NCAA, and/or Canadian University level, and want to be able to pass on some of that knowledge. I have an interest in mentoring young people, and believe that basketball can be used as a way to develop skills that translate into all aspects of life.

I acknowledge that one session a week with me will not turn anyone into an elite basketball player; most basketball skills can only be developed through habitual practice and in-game experience. It is because of this that I like to specialize in providing players with the tools to work on their game independently, with a focus on the skills that elementary, high school, and club coaches are looking for. In my lessons I look to provide:
-A better understanding of the body control and fundamentals.
-Technical instruction and feedback on skills like shooting and defence.
-Key points to maximize improvement.
-The basics of how to "think the game" and be a better teammate.
