It's very important to approach the lessons in different ways according to the students' needs. Everyone has their own way of learning things! I have had an extensive variety of students of all ages and levels and can adapt my lessons to people who want to start from scratch or maybe to improve skills, learn songs they like, some others will prefer to have lessons based on music theory, harmony or technique. Or why not all together! Please don't hesitate in contacting me so we can discuss in advance what you would like to learn about in our first lesson! Looking forward to hearing from you! Learn how to play your favourite songs! Scales and chords Technique and exercises Improvisation Chord charts and ear training Time keeping & groove concepts Composition

Perfect! I came to double bass ( I have an electric upright bass ) having played electric bass many years ago. Juan has helped me with my technique, my ear, music theory and has given me confidence to get to grips with the instrument so and not to make it daunting.
He has a great one to one style that is easy going & every time I leave I have learned something new
I highly recommend him- We have had a few lessons with David, he's great at learning the double bass, I can see already the improvements on his playing!See the response Juan :

- Freddie is and amazing student, he's always up to learning more, that makes the lessons super enjoyable and fun to teach!See the response Juan :
Perfect! Juan Is very knowledgeable and professional. I like how he can combine some music theory with actual practice one a specific song. He has a lot of patience and is very didactic.
- Thanks! Melisa is very good at listening, and she learns super fast!See the response Juan :
