About Alex
I have been involved in the music industry since i was very young through My family's music events company. I was inspired by all the things i saw and used to love learning how to set up instruments and understand live sound and how it all worked.
I started playing the drums from a young age and even played in my uncles band when i was 7 which felt like Led Zeppelin at that age! I then progressed, listening to different genres and immersing myself in everything music, playing in school bands etc throughout my early life.
I then went to college and got my Diploma in music performance and production in 2021 and started to produce my own music and got very interested in the bass guitar, deciding to take this on as my primary instrument. I achieved grade 8 in the RGT London bass examinations in 2023 and have a distinction in the ABRSM music theory exam also from 2023.
I have been lucky enough to compose and produce my own music, as well as supporting a range of artists both nationally and internationally, on a number of fantastic projects from the avenue of a bass player. From both these different areas, ive got to learn a lot, and i very much continue to still do so and i really enjoy using this information to hep guide and discuss what it is that we do, and to help people through their own journeys of music.
I am continuing to study, work and love teaching passionate people about music in my spare time.

Music is all about passion, Dedication and learning/doing the right things at the right time. I can offer a range of different styles of teaching, from working alongside grades and examinations. To helping you learn a piece of music for your band or keeping you on your toes and exploring music more freely.
Everyone learns differently and has different interests, and its my job to figure out which route is best to take in order to achieve the results and abilities you want. I will provide you with information, exercises and guidance towards achieving the objective at hand and i will try to always keep it fun!
A typical lesson lasts 1 hour but can vary depending on your availability or needs and i am very flexible with what i can do so just let me know.
