About Denzel

I’m a trained performer and vocal artist specialising in beatboxing, rap and singing. I studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where I developed advanced voice and performance techniques. Alongside my theatre training, I’ve built experience performing, writing and producing vocal music, developing a unique style that combines rhythm, storytelling and vocal percussion. I love teaching because I enjoy helping students unlock confidence, creativity and their own authentic sound.

About the lesson

I offer personalised lessons in beatboxing, singing and rap performance, focusing on developing your unique voice, rhythm and confidence. Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I have strong experience in vocal technique, breath control and stage performance. My lessons are fun, supportive and tailored to each student, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced performer looking to improve flow, vocal power and musical creativity.

Denzel is a wonderful person and fantastic teacher! We've known each other since drama school, and I've constantly been impressed by his patience, his kindness, and his willingness to help and guide others. I once watched him work with an actor who was preparing for a big audition, and Denzel's approach seemed to almost foster confidence and spur new ideas within the actor that they were immediately able to utilize.
I'd absolutely recommend Denzel to anyone!

I’ve seen Denzel in multiple shows on the West End and he was incredible so I took a few singing classes with him. I noticed a substantial improvement in my singing after only a few classes. He’s such a great teacher because he was patient yet vigorous and made the classes a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!
