About Emily
I have 5 years of experience teaching Computer Programming to K-12 students through online one-to-one live lessons. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a U.S. institution. I focus on building confidence with technology by breaking concepts into small, clear steps and creating a relaxed space where students feel comfortable exploring new ideas.

I teach Computer Programming assuming the student is completely new, and that is always okay. I begin by explaining how computers think and follow instructions using everyday examples.
Before writing any code, I help students understand logic and step-by-step thinking. Then we slowly explore Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, and basic Artificial Intelligence ideas.
Students can pause me anytime, ask the same question again, or say they feel confused. I adjust my pace immediately so learning always feels safe and encouraging.
