About Amayra
Hello! My name is Amayra and I am a Grade 8 pianist, composer, and current Music and Audio Production student at Queen’s University Belfast. I am passionate about introducing children to music in a fun, relaxed, and supportive way. Although I am new to teaching piano, I bring solid practical experience as a musician and creator. I compose original music — including horror background tracks and EDM — and I am very confident using the Studio One digital audio workstation for composing, arranging, and producing. This gives me a modern, creative approach that many young learners find inspiring. I teach complete beginners, especially children who are picking up piano for the first time. My lessons are gentle, step-by-step, and paced to build confidence. I work with simple songs, easy exercises, and clear explanations to make learning enjoyable and stress-free for young learners. My goal is to create a positive atmosphere where children feel encouraged, supported, and excited to learn. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping each student progress at their own pace. I look forward to supporting your child on their musical journey.

I teach beginner piano in a friendly, patient, and encouraging way, with lessons especially designed for young children who are just starting their musical journey. My teaching style is calm and supportive: I break everything down into small, simple steps so children can learn at a comfortable pace without ever feeling overwhelmed. I use easy songs, fun activities, and gentle guidance to help them enjoy music from the very first lesson. A typical lesson lasts 30 minutes, which works very well for children and complete beginners. In each session, we explore basic hand positions, simple rhythms, note recognition, and beginner tunes that help build confidence. I always adapt lessons to the child’s pace and personality so learning stays fun and engaging. I am a Grade 8 pianist and a composer, currently studying Music and Audio Production at Queen’s University Belfast. I compose original music in styles ranging from horror soundtracks to EDM, and I enjoy helping young learners explore the creative and playful side of music. While I am still developing my sight-reading and ear-training skills, I use practical, approachable methods that help beginners feel relaxed and successful. This will be my first time teaching, so I bring a fresh, enthusiastic, and very relatable approach to helping children learn piano.
