About Claire
I have taught bellydance for fun at a yoga school in Mexico after performing at Tribal Fest in California (video with my teacher Ma'isah below after three years of dance study). I studied bellydance, Bollywood, burlesque, Odissi, contemporary and other styles of dance as a form of overcoming grief and self empowerment. I began performing immediately and am very encouraging of this as a medium for anyone without needing a background in dance.

I teach belly dance for beginners. Great exercise, wonderful for gaining a positive body image and learning to have fun with your femininity. Learn basic steps as well as choreographies. If you like, public performances can be arranged.
