About James
I grew up and attended state school/sixth form in Sunderland, before attending the University of York to study biology. It has been a few years since I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels, but I still remember how stressful it was, and how frustrating it was when I myself needed a physics tutor.
I will be calm and patient, tailor my lessons to topics you are struggling with, and explain difficult topics in different ways to help your understanding.

Each 1-hour lesson will begin with a small set of recap questions on the topic covered in the previous lesson. After this, we will recap the key points on the topic for that lesson, using powerpoint slides with images rather than walls of text to support learning. The lesson will end with example exam questions on the topic.
At GCSEs, I received grade 9 in Maths and Biology; at A-Level, I received A*'s in Biology, Maths and Further Maths; and I have received first class honours in a Master's degree in Biology.
My lessons are for students working towards GCSEs or A-Levels in Biology and Maths.
