About Rhea
My interest in Biology began through a fascination with nature, ecosystems, and the remarkable complexity of living organisms. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences followed by a Master of Science in Environmental Biology. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds, helping them develop confidence and understanding through supportive instruction.
I believe Biology becomes more enjoyable when students can connect concepts to the world around them. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, engagement, and active learning. Through visual explanations, discussions, and practical examples, I help learners build strong foundations while encouraging independent thinking and scientific curiosity.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying conservation, environmental sustainability, and developments in biological research. These interests help me bring relevant and current examples into lessons. Helping students discover the excitement of Biology and develop confidence in their abilities remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My Biology lessons are designed to help students understand how living organisms function, interact, and adapt within their environments. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology, evolution, biodiversity, and environmental science. Rather than relying heavily on memorization, I encourage students to explore the connections between biological systems and real-world phenomena. This approach helps learners develop deeper understanding and long-term retention. Every lesson combines explanation, discussion, and application to make Biology both meaningful and engaging.
Lessons are personalized according to each student's learning level and goals. Beginners focus on foundational biological concepts, scientific vocabulary, and basic processes. Intermediate learners strengthen analytical skills through diagrams, data interpretation, and process-based questions. Advanced students explore complex biological mechanisms, scientific investigations, and examination preparation strategies. Guided practice and constructive feedback help students improve steadily while building confidence in their scientific abilities.
Biology helps students understand the living world and their place within it. My goal is to encourage curiosity, scientific thinking, and confidence while helping learners develop the knowledge and skills needed for academic success.
