About Rachel
I am a student at the University of Calgary studying Biology with a minor in Religious Studies, I am entering my fourth year. I have been tutoring since 2016, I have taught a variety of students with different skill levels and different needs, I have taught students in elementary school, junior high, as well as high school.

I believe a good foundation is critical in succeeding in math. I like to focus on current units that students are working on and working on any homework assigned to the student. I also find it helpful to go back and review previous units to ensure that students fully understand their previous units, so they feel confident in their knowledge for cumulative and final exams, this also ensures that the student has all the skills necessary to tackle the units to come. I like to make documents with my students that they can refer back to while they are studying for their finals, ensuring that even if the student is not working with me, they still have the tools necessary to succeed. I specialize in math at the Jr. High and Sr. High levels, I am comfortable teaching -1 and -2 maths at the high school level.
