About Himani
Hi, I’m Himani, a 1st DAN Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, and my journey with martial arts started at the age of 11.
In my early training years, the focus was mainly on techniques and performance. There was little awareness about important aspects like proper diet, body-specific training, or long-term injury prevention—especially for female athletes.
As I grew older, I experienced some of the consequences of this approach in the form of injuries and health challenges. That phase became a turning point for me.
It made me deeply understand that true martial arts training is not just about strength or techniques, but about training the body intelligently and safely.
That’s why I chose to teach differently.
Today, I focus on a holistic and personalized approach, where I consider each student’s body, limitations, and overall well-being before starting their training. My aim is to help students become strong, confident, and skilled—without compromising their health.
I am especially mindful while training female students, ensuring that the methods support their natural physiology and promote sustainable strength.
If you’re looking to learn karate in a way that builds both skill and long-term well-being, I would be happy to guide you.

My training approach is holistic and student-centered. As a 1st DAN Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, I focus not just on techniques, but on building a strong, injury-free foundation for long-term growth.
Before starting training, I carefully understand each student’s physical condition, including posture, flexibility, any physical limitations, or bone-related concerns. This helps me design a safe and effective training plan that prevents injuries and supports overall development.
A key part of my method is muscle strengthening before intensive martial arts practice, so that the body can properly support joints and movements. I also guide students on basic diet awareness and lifestyle habits that improve performance and recovery.
I pay special attention to training female students, understanding their physiology and ensuring techniques and routines work with their body, not against it.
Class Structure:
Warm-up and mobility exercises

Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
I had the opportunity to learn and train in karate alongside Himani for about 6 months. During that time, I observed how dedicated and disciplined she was in her practice. She always took her training seriously, paid attention to technique, and never looked for shortcuts in exercises.
Now, I am happy to see her become a karate coach. Having faced her own health challenges, she continues to learn and improve her understanding of training, health, and injury prevention. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment, especially for female students, and believes that training should help people become stronger and confident without working against their bodies.
I would confidently recommend Himani to anyone interested in learning karate from a knowledgeable, hardworking, and caring instructor.Although I am not learning karate from Himani, her guidance has helped me improve my exercise technique, posture, and overall movement quality. She identified weaknesses in my form, particularly around hip strength and movement mechanics, and helped me correct them through targeted exercises.
Her approach is patient, structured, and focused on proper technique rather than simply increasing repetitions. Over time, I improved my plank holds, learned to perform full push-ups with correct form, developed better overall body control, and my duck-footed gait has started to improve.
What I appreciate most is that she explains not just what to do, but why it matters. I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their fitness, movement quality, and long-term physical development. For many years, I focused only on running and paid little attention to strength training or nutrition, which left me with low overall muscle strength. Himani helped me understand the importance of a balanced approach to fitness and introduced me to strength and resistance training exercises that complemented my running routine.
She also taught me the importance of proper nutrition, especially adequate protein and fiber intake, which helped me develop healthier habits. Because of her guidance, I now balance running, strength training, and nutrition much more effectively, and I feel healthier and stronger than before.
What stands out most about Himani is her genuine desire to help others improve themselves. She is supportive, and passionate about fitness and well-being. Although I did not train in karate under her, I highly recommend her as a karate instructor.View more recommendations
