About Abigail
Sounding good starts with how you hold the pick. I remember sitting in my first gigging sessions feeling completely overwhelmed by scales and modes. You get a monthly recorded review of progress to track your lead guitar development. We balance ear training with technical proficiency.
My 5 years in the Montreal folk scene taught me how to bridge the gap between theory and playing live. It is about making sense of the fretboard. Whether you are a returning learner or a complete novice, we will move forward with your playing goal.

I am a gigging musician first. Teaching guitar is about breaking down walls.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music. Blues progressions and music theory are my bread and butter for hobbyists.
I help self-taught players find actual structure. Grade exam candidates often struggle with reading tabs or sheet music, but I make it logical. I enjoy helping people tune their own instruments and perform maintenance.
