About Morgan

I am a driven Second-year Economics & Accounting student at the University of Southampton, currently on track for a first-class degree. My fascination with how the world works goes beyond the lecture hall; whether I'm analysing the high stakes financial strategies of F1 racing, producing music, or diving into photography, I’m always looking for the patterns and logic behind the creativity.
My academic foundation is solid, and I am a Maths Faculty Award winner and former Senior Prefect. These roles taught me that the best leaders are also the best communicators, a skill I’ve honed while tutoring over 10 students weekly at Number Works’n’Words. Much like my interest in Art and Music Production, I believe tutoring requires a blend of technical precision and creative problem-solving; I’ve successfully managed groups of five students at once, adapting my teaching style to match each individual's learning pace.
I’m not just here to help you pass an exam; I’m here to help you understand the "why" behind the numbers and theory. With certifications from Bloomberg and Mazars, plus a deep interest in the world of investing, I bring a modern, commercially aware perspective to every session. Whether we are discussing Microeconomic theory or building complex models in Excel, I approach every lesson with a lot of focus and energy.

My teaching style is built on clarity, application, and exam technique. I break down complex Micro and Macroeconomic theories into digestible, real-world scenarios that make sense.

• Active Problem Solving: We don't just read notes; we analyse current market trends and apply SWOT analysis similar to the professional reports I produced during my ICAEW experience to understand economic decisions.

• Data Mastery: Using my Advanced Excel skills, I help students visualise shifts in supply and demand or inflationary trends, making the maths behind the theory feel intuitive.

• Exam Strategy: We focus heavily on structuring high-scoring essays and mastering multiple-choice questions to ensure you hit every mark on the board.

Typical Lesson Length:
• Standard Session: 60 minutes. This allows enough time for a core topic review, an interactive exercise, and a practice exam question.
• Intensive Sessions: 90-minute blocks are available for A-Level students during peak exam revision periods.

My Qualifications & Experience
• Current Degree: I am a 2nd-year Economics & Accounting student at the University of Southampton, currently on track for a first class

• Professional Edge: I hold certifications from Bloomberg Market Concepts and Mazars, giving me a commercial awareness that goes beyond the standard curriculum.
