About the lesson

- Session will start off with a quick overview of what student is currently learning by working on what the student knows to make sure they do not feel discouraged or burnt out
- Lesson Begins, typical lesson plan would look like this:
- Start off with basic concepts to assess what student knows
- Transition to the area student has challenges with, working with the content given to them at school, ie homework or
test prep
- Using examples similar to their homework, create an open lesson to teach them, and give them a brief overview of the concepts they are learning
- If needed, give them a quick lesson and overview of how to go about tackling a certain problem they are struggling with
-Based on their success, I reward them with one gold star

I as a tutor have a patient lesson plan that sets an early path to success, no extra content is given on my end unless requested to, as it is my job to help them tackle problems they face at school and set them to the road for success. Resources will obviously be provided in place of work ie math games, simple activity sheets
