About Cosimo

I am a 59-year-old Italian man, I moved to Australia at the age of 41 with my family.
Deeply attached to Italian traditions and culture, always passionate about Italian cuisine and language.
My dream is to help English native speakers to learn the proper pronunciation of Italian words, being born and raised in Florence, Tuscany, the land where Italian language was first spoken and written, gives me the extra motivation to take you on this wonderful journey.

About the lesson

Offering structured, results-driven Italian tutoring designed to build real confidence in speaking, comprehension, and academic performance.

Each 50-minute lesson is carefully organized to maximize focus and retention: we begin with a 20-minute targeted teaching segment, where concepts are clearly explained with practical examples. This is followed by a short 5-minute break to maintain concentration, then a 25-minute guided practice session where you actively apply what you’ve learned with my support to ensure accuracy and confidence.

My approach is informed by university-level learning strategies and student feedback, focusing on active recall, practical application, and consistent reinforcement—so you don’t just learn Italian, you retain and use it effectively.

Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you are:
• Building conversational fluency for travel
• Improving school or VCE performance
• Strengthening university-level Italian skills

I also provide optional, free, post-lesson exercises with personalized feedback to help you consolidate your learning independently and track measurable progress over time.

Suitable for students aged 14+ at all levels, from complete beginners to advanced.
