About Caitlin
A Psychology graduate of the University of Bristol, with 3 A-levels and 13 GCSE's grades A*-A. Teaching is a passion of mine, inspired by my parents who are both teachers by profession. Teaching is not only for the benefit of the learner, it is a shared experience that can open doors for both mentor and student.
Driven by successful study techniques, I have excelled in my academic journey, achieving high results in my exams. I wish to share this with other learners so that they may reach their goals in the same way.
My lessons are all designed to the highest standard, compliant with all relevant exam boards (WJEC, AQA, Edexcel, OCR). I am confident that through my carefully planned and professionally structured lessons, each learner will achieve their academic potential

It is important to me that students from all backgrounds are taught in a warm atmosphere, where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning in their own unique style. Building a strong rapport with my students is key to fostering a positive learning environment. Mistakes are encouraged, and personalised feedback is provided in an encouraging and friendly manner. I offer tailored, private lessons to people of all ages, with dedicated hours to revision techniques and exam preparation, and resources for enhanced learning are provided.
Lessons are tailored to suit the learners strengths and complement previous experience and knowledge, which comprise of multiple activities designed for holistic and engaging learning, with real-world examples to enhance contextual understanding.
Lesson lengths vary according to individual need and age (30 mins-2hrs)
I have basic knowledge of British Sign Language which ensures my lessons are accessible for learners who are deaf/hard of hearing.
