About Adam

I've spent 17 years producing some of the biggest moments in world sport ... and now I help the next generation break in!

I produced the closing sequence of the 2019 Rugby World Cup, watched by over 12 million people. That broadcast won a BAFTA. I've been pitch-side at the FIFA Women's World Cup, in the edit suite for the Qatar World Cup final, embedded with the Wales squad at Euro 2020, I ahve a IMDB Director Credit for a feature documentary with Cesc Fabregas that hit 400,000 views. Right now I'm freelancing across BBC Sport, DAZN, Warner Bros. Discovery, Amazon Prime Video, ATP Media and more.

I know exactly how this industry works ..who hires, what they look for, and how to get your foot in the door without the "right" connections.

I mentor aspiring TV producers, media students, and career changers who want an honest insider's guide, not generic advice.

Sessions cover:

I also mentor through Creative Access and BCOMS (Black Collective of Media in Sport), and I regularly deliver talks at universities on careers in broadcasting.

Whether you're working through a university assignment or trying to figure out how to break into the broadcast industry, I'll tailor every session to where you are and what you're trying to achieve.

For students needing assignment support, I can help with:

- Understanding briefs and structuring your response
- Media theory, production practice and critical analysis
- Script writing, VT structure and storytelling technique
- Reviewing and giving feedback on your work before submission
- Dissertation and research project guidance

For those looking to break into the industry, sessions can cover:

- A honest breakdown of how broadcast production actually works
- CV, cover letter and showreel feedback from someone who has seen them from the other side of the hiring process
- A practical action plan: what to do next, who to contact, and what to say
- Navigating the freelance market and building a sustainable career
- Q&A on anything about the industry you've never been able to get a straight answer on

I'm still working every week across BBC Sport, DAZN, Amazon Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery, so whether it's your coursework or your career, everything I offer comes from someone at the sharp end of the industry right now.

Sessions are 60 minutes via Zoom. Come with your work, your questions, or both.
