About Evelyn
One thing I've learned through teaching is that students improve faster when they enjoy the music they are learning. I like helping learners build skills while keeping creativity and personal interests involved.
I have a Music Degree and 11 years of teaching experience with beginners and adult students. These years have helped me understand how different students need different approaches to stay motivated.
I enjoy celebrating progress, whether it's learning a first song, improving technique, or creating original ideas. Seeing students enjoy their growth is one of the best parts of teaching guitar.

During my guitar lessons, I help students enjoy playing while developing useful skills through practical learning. Each class is adjusted to your experience, favourite music, and personal goals, making the process comfortable and enjoyable.
We'll work on chords, chord progressions, strumming patterns, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle playing, picking techniques, lead guitar skills, improvisation, songwriting basics, and music theory. We can practise songs you like, improve difficult sections, or explore new ways to create music.
I'll share simple practice ideas, helpful feedback, and clear goals after each lesson. With regular practice, you'll become more confident with the guitar and enjoy expressing yourself through your playing.
