About Lori
I am a dedicated 4th grade teacher and proud mom of four, with a life centered around supporting and guiding youth. I currently tutor students after school at my local school, where I focus on helping learners grow in confidence and ability; especially in reading and math.
I believe education should be meaningful and personalized, because no two students learn the same way. My goal is to meet each child where they are and help them succeed in a way that works best for them.
As a Colorado native, my family and I live a very western lifestyle. My children are actively involved in rodeo, baseball, and softball, which has shaped my strong belief in hard work, dedication, and perseverance - values I bring into my teaching every day.

Because I get it—I’m a real 4th grade teacher, so I know exactly what you’re learning and what can feel tricky. I make reading easier to understand and math actually make sense (yes, really!). I also have 4 kids of my own, so I’ve had LOTS of practice helping kids learn in ways that work for them. My goal? Help you feel confident, proud, and maybe even have a little fun along the way.
