About Lyra
Music has always been my way of storytelling, and that passion guides my teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting (Voice Primary) and have over 4 years of experience coaching singers. My lessons merge vocal technique with technology, using DAWs, microphones, and vocal processors to shape performance-ready voices. I guide students through vocal looping, harmony stacking, and expressive phrasing. Genres like R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian inspire much of my work. Each lesson helps you connect emotionally to lyrics while refining tone and resonance. I focus on helping singers bring authenticity and artistry into their sound. I love working with both casual singers and emerging recording artists. My approach builds confidence, stage presence, and creativity. You’ll learn how to use your voice as both an instrument and a storyteller. Every session blends technique with imagination. Join me, and let’s craft music that moves both you and your listeners.

My teaching approach blends structure and creativity to help singers grow with confidence. I start by building solid foundations in breathing and posture. Then, we focus on resonance, tone shaping, and projection. You’ll learn to create a strong, beautiful sound without tension. I also guide you in mastering vocal registers—chest, head, and mix—so your range feels seamless. Every lesson is tailored to your goals and voice type. I use gentle, progressive exercises that improve both control and expressiveness. I’m very good with The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner who may need extra patience and support. We track your improvement carefully and celebrate small victories. You’ll learn how to shape vowels, manage dynamics, and communicate emotion through your tone. Lessons also include techniques for singing different genres with ease. I aim to make singing joyful and rewarding. Together, we’ll unlock your vocal potential and bring out the best version of your sound.
