About Rylie

Hi! My name is Rylie, I recently graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a Bachelors in Business Management and Legal Studies. I currently work in financial advisement at a local firm with aspirations to attend UGA Law School to pursue my passions of business and law. My academic journey has been shaped by an enthusiasm for learning, and I have always particularly enjoyed math and science. Having graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA and a 1450 SAT score, I understand the importance of finding a learning style that fits each individual. My own academic experience wasn't without challenges- I personally struggled with various teaching methods- which inspired me to help others find their ideal learning approach and excel in their academic pursuits. No matter how you learn, I’m confident that I can tailor my tutoring methods to fit your unique needs and help you succeed.

About the lesson

I have five years of one-on-one tutoring experience, working with students in a range of subjects. I specialize in mathematics, covering topics from elementary math up to Calculus 2, including statistics, SAT preparation, and GED prep. While I primarily tutor high school students for assignments, test preparation, and standardized testing like the SAT, I also work with college students and adults seeking GED qualifications. My approach is centered around breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and adapting to each student's learning style. I aim to build confidence, foster understanding, and ensure students progress at their own pace, all while meeting their academic goals.
