About Jeffrey Louis
Hello all, As a creative mind I know that some of the methods used at college, uni and school don’t really work for us. As I also have dyslexia I often think about things backwards, like the end of a story before the beginning. Here I aim to help you shape your ideas, talk about story structure and character creation. Also a bit about genre and audience and methods for organising your mind and keeping your writing safe. My top areas would be creative writing, short stories, novel structure and planning. I am also a poet, this is such a subjective area, although I can certainly assist in some way. As well as prose I can tutor screenwriting, including industry format, structure and plot. I studied English & Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University in Wales, class of 2012. In 2018 I undertook a Screenwriting MA at the University of West London and I have since written a short film entitled Disquiet (2019) about the perils of smartphone addiction.
