I've been there, struggling to understand concepts. Even if you aren't a math person I've helped people score 3s and 4s on their exams only had Algebra 1 experience and had to learn AP Pre-Calculus in 4 months. I also don't just be boring about it. I make sure everything is going well then make it fun and interesting so you remember it in time for the exams.
