About Alban
I've lived in London all my life and beside academics, my favourite activities revolve around sports. My main sport is rugby, but I play lots of others socially, such as tennis, football and basketball.
About a year ago I set myself the task of learning to play the guitar. Progress is very slow, but I get a little bit better every day.

I have been tutoring for 4 years and have logged over 100 hours of experience.
My approach is to make lessons structured, but also tailored to each individual student. I’ll first work out what they understand, where they’re struggling, and what they want to achieve, and then build lessons around that.
I think it’s important that students understand why something works, rather than just memorising a method. I also try to make lessons engaging and give students the confidence to tackle difficult problems independently.
