About Daniel
After attending public schools in Cranford, NJ, I completed a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics at Case Western Reserve University. There, I was a peer tutor for undergraduates in physics and math and a volunteer tutor for local secondary school students. I studied abroad in Physics for one year at the University of Oxford and obtained a Master's in Physics at the University of Cambridge. In these universities, my approach to teaching was shaped by the tutorial system, where researchers guide students through problem-solving in small groups. Currently, I am doing research in cosmology while applying to PhDs in this field. I am always happy to discuss research and higher education with students!

I have over a year of experience tutoring high school and university students in physics and mathematics, who consistently went on to achieve high grades in their classes. My philosophy is that tutoring should be guided by the student's challenges and interests. Depending on your preferences, lessons can begin with a review of recent class material, addressing any points of confusion, followed by solving practice problems. I believe in students leading the problem-solving and the tutor serving as a guide, offering hints and conversations to build intuition and understanding.
