About Henry
I’m a fully qualified Physics teacher (QTS) with a master’s from both the University of Cambridge and the University of Leicester. Over the past three years, I’ve taught students aged 11 to 18 across both the public and private sectors, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Physics. I’ve also been involved in high-level research, including a collaboration with Leicester Space Park and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to develop a Raman spectrometer for lunar water-ice detection. I also hold a permanent membership of the Institute of Physics.

My tutoring is all about you. I’m passionate about helping students make sense of complex ideas, break down tricky concepts, and feel confident in their abilities. My students consistently report that they enjoy my relaxed, approachable style, and I take pride in helping them boost their grades, build confidence, and even develop a genuine curiosity for physics. Whether you’re looking to catch up, get ahead, or explore advanced topics like astrophysics or space science, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you step by step — making physics a bit less daunting and, hopefully, a lot more enjoyable.

I had the pleasure to study with Henry while I was studying for my A-level physics. Not only were our lessons always great but I think I put it solely up to him for being why I passed my Physics!
"Henry is a conscientious, hard working and determined person who puts 100% into all of his endeavours both professional and personal"
I think that Henry is very knowledgeable and skilled in explaining topics in a relaxed manner. When we speak, he is very good at helping to break down a subject and make it understandable to anyone at any level of knowledge. He has good experience at teaching, and I find that he is kind, friendly, approachable, and very energetic. He is always happy to help and explain - no question is too troublesome!View more recommendations
