About Emily
I have always had a strong interest in Psychology, achieving an A* at A-Level. My experience studying Psychology, combined with my wider academic background, has given me a strong appreciation for the subject and a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in exams.
Having experienced the A-Level system myself and achieved an A*, I understand that Psychology can sometimes feel like a lot to take in. There are theories, studies, research methods, evaluation points and essay-writing techniques to master, and knowing how to bring all of this together in an exam can be challenging. I want to make that process feel much more manageable and help students approach the subject with greater confidence.

Passionate about Psychology and looking for support with your A-Level studies? I offer online A-Level Psychology tutoring to help you build confidence, strengthen your understanding of the subject and prepare effectively for your exams.
I am a Cambridge University graduate, where I studied History. However, before this, I achieved an A* in A-Level Psychology during sixth form. Having successfully studied Psychology at A-Level myself, I understand the demands of the course and can offer guidance on both subject knowledge and exam technique.
I base lessons around the relevant exam board specification (AQA), ensuring that we focus on the topics, key studies, theories and evaluation skills you need for your course and exams.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. We can focus on areas you find difficult, strengthen your understanding of key concepts and studies, improve essay-writing and evaluation, practise exam questions, develop exam technique, consolidate your existing knowledge and work through topics step-by-step.
