About Karen
You likely want to move beyond basic strumming patterns to reach a new standard of playing. After 13 years of helping 340 students, I find that teaching guitar is a conversation between eras. My work with teens and adults emphasizes chord transitions and barre chords as foundational blocks. Electric technique requires a different touch than the classical fiddle, yet the focus on listening remains central.
