About Sailor

For the past 8+ years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish to High School and College students who want to improve their academic performance and communication skills. I believe learning should be interesting, practical, and designed around each student's individual learning style. By creating personalised lesson plans, I help students stay motivated while building confidence in every aspect of the language.

My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish. I explain concepts using clear language, practical examples, and interactive exercises that make learning easier and more enjoyable. Students actively participate through discussions, role-playing, and real-life conversations that improve fluency and confidence.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to identify each student's learning needs and adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I provide detailed feedback, regular progress reviews, and customised study strategies that help students continue improving at a comfortable pace.

I also introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures by discussing traditions, customs, music, food, and everyday communication. This helps students understand the language more naturally while developing greater cultural awareness.

My commitment to personalised learning allows every student to receive the guidance they need to reach their goals. Whether preparing for school examinations, college assignments, or future opportunities, I remain dedicated to helping students become confident and successful Spanish speakers.

About the lesson

I teach Spanish using a methodology that combines motivation, communication, creativity, and time management. Motivation is key; I create a supportive environment where students feel confident, engaged, and inspired to learn. Communication is central; I focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive exercises, role-plays, and practical activities.

Creativity is integrated using storytelling, games, role-plays, and visual aids to make lessons fun, engaging, and memorable. Time management ensures lessons are structured and productive, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice efficiently.

I also guide learners on organising their study and practice outside class. Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar, pronunciation, and language learning strategies. My goal is to provide a structured, enjoyable, and effective learning experience.
